Sang-Jun Ly, Chairman of Golden Bridge Was Selected as One of 48 Asian Altruists by Forbes Forbes selected 4 heroes each of 12 countries Ly donated 2.6 million USD to establish HanViet Foundation  Mr. Sang-Jun Ly, chairman of Golden Bridge Finance Group was included in the 48 Asian philanthropists selected by Forbes. According to Forbes, Mr. Ly who is a descendant of Vietnamese Ly Dynasty has been practicing his special sentiment to Vietnam through various contributions such as donation of ＄2 million to set up the HanViet (Korea-Vietnam) Foundation last year. Besides Mr. Ly, three more heroes including Kim Seong Ju, chairman of SeongJu Group, Ho Jang Su, chairman of GS Holding Group, and Lee Jong Hwan, chairman of Sam Young Group were also selected in Korea. Forbes also mentioned that the selection of 48 heroes reflects not only the amount of donations but also their philanthropic contribution which helps the underprivileged properly. And, it said that Li Ka Shing, the richest man in Hong Kong has received the great respect as he announced his commitment to donate one-third of his whole property amount of 32 billion USD to the community. |
