Golden Bridge Asset Management was founded in 1999 as World Asset Investment Advisors with chartered capital of USD
10.7 million. It was renamed New State Capital, then New State Asset Management in 2001. Since its acquisition in 2004 by Golden Bridge,
it has formed Golden Bridge Asset Management.
Golden Bridge Asset Management was struggling with the loss of 80% of its paid-in capital and only had USD 24 million
in assets under management at the time of the acquisition. For four years after the acquisition, the company has shown relentless efforts
to expand its business and recover its impaired capital. As a result, its trust assets have increased up to USD 1 billion, and it has became
the top performing financial institution in Korea with a rapid growth rate and ROE. It is now recognized as a unique company with a
combination of alternative investments and socially responsible investments.
Golden Bridge Asset Management, a leader in alternative investment funds, has cultivated the Korean market
with passion and effort, and has been expanding its business through various private & public equity funds in real estate, auctions,
international business, commodity investments, and entertainment. Building upon our strong relationships with Vietnam, the
company has |
|
recently launched an office in Ho Chi Minh City, managing two Vietnamese funds accounting for USD 60 million and
is expected to expand its investment targets to other Southeast Asian markets.
