Golden Bridge Investment & Securities, originally established in Seoul as ¡®Daeyu Securities¡¯ in 1954 and listed on the Korea Stock Exchange in 1988, is a true witness to - and survivor of - the turbulent history of the Korean securities market. After the merger with Ileun Securities, a subsidiary of Standard Chartered First Bank (formerly, Korea First Bank), it changed its name to Bridge Securities.
However, following the acquisition by Golden Bridge in 2005, it is now ¡®Golden Bridge Investment & Securities¡¯ as of October 2007.

Golden Bridge Investment & Securities not only changed its name but was also turned around with our acquisition, just before its liquidation due to the withdrawal of overseas investment funds. After five years of recording a continuous loss, the company turned to profits after just one year of the acquisition, through restructuring efforts and continuous infusions of competency in ¡®3IBs¡¯. It now has a globally competitive structure in place.

Golden Bridge Investment & Securities has 11 branches nationwide with over 200 employees focusing on brokerage and asset management services for individual and institutional investors. It also provides investment banking services such as acquisition of stocks and structured finance, M&A and corporate restructuring, and real estate and resources development.
As a securities company specializing in investments in Vietnam, it also has an office in Ho Chi Minh City and is leading the global financial investments of Korean companies attempting to recover their drive for growth and transformation.
